What Will You Find on This Blog?

I will be using this blog as an outlet for my creative and professional mind. It will include my creative writing as well as my random thoughts on art, culture, education, and a variety of other relevant topics. I will also write about random happenings in my life to keep my friends updated on my adventures. If you're passionate about art (in all its forms), community service, culture, education, literature, reading, teaching, and/or writing, this blog is for you! :)

About Me

My photo
Austin A. Searfoss
I'm a proud graduate of The University of Findlay with bachelor of arts degrees in Adolescent-Young Adult Language Arts Education and English with a teaching emphasis, and I'm currently studying at the same institution for my MAE in Reading. I enjoy playing hopscotch with hobos, eating breakfast at Tiffany's, and listening to Christmas music in June. I would like to eventually teach education, literature, and writing classes at the college level, but that won't be until I spend a good many years teaching high school English (and partaking in various other service-minded careers). Majoring in Education and English, I know that my wallet will always be empty, but regardless, I will always be happy. I plan to live in a box in the woods surrounded by a pack of poodles and a gaggle of geese. There I can spend my days in leisure, with my Audrey Hepburn look-alike wife, writing to the world.
